  • 1.  Best Practice "when" to install SEP Client on to SQL Server 2008 R2

    Posted Mar 20, 2013 09:53 AM

Hello... New in the Endpoint Protection arena...

I have a customer who is creating a new SQL 2008 R2 server.  We are currently running SEP 11.x.  Is it best practice to install the client after SQL is installed?   Is there any "Best Practice" documentation I can use as a reference?

You can build the box and install after SQL has finished installing

    There may be required exceptions
