  • 1.  Best way to include the Altiris Sub Agents to the build?

    Hi,

    Excluding the Deployment Server agent I was wondering what other people do to install the numerous Altiris Agents as quickly as possible on new builds and why you choose your method?

    i.e...

    * Scripted?
    * Install all of them and Image them with the build and remove the Altiris agent GUID prior to SYSPREP?
    * Drop the cache files into C:\Program Files\altiris\Altiris Agent\Software Delivery and kick of a POST build scripted install of the Altiris agent?
    * etc etc

    I want to make sure that all the agents are installed and running on a newly built machine before it's ships to the user.

    I've attached an image of the agents I want to install.

    I would never include the base agents, as it may inadvertently cause issues, and possibly cause you to exceed your licensing, if you are 'tight' against that ceiling.
