    Hi Friends,

We have a situation, where we have to upgrade the DLP Enforce Sever 11.5 (Running over Linux machine) to 12.6 (on Windows)  and its Oracle 11 g database (Two Tier implementation). Could you please suggest best way to proceed for the upgradation?

Pelase suggest/correct me, whether the below plan of action is right?

    1. Planned to Install Enforce server 11.5 with Oracle 11g on Windows server

    2. Backup the Linux DB as mentioned in Vontu Oracle 11g guide, Copied 14 files from opt/oracle/oraprotect/protect and copied those files Windows Oracle to c:\oracle\oraprotect\protect folder.

    3. After that we faced certain issues like, Vontu monitor controller service is stopping automatically, when we tried to open the webpage, We are getting https 404 page error.

    4. Is it best way to do migrate DB, How would you export and import polices and incident database between Enforce Server and Oracle Server database, running on two different OS platform (Linux to windows).

    5. Also, Is it bes way to update Vontu from 11.5 -> 12.0 -> 12.6?

Could you please help us in resolving the issue?

    Thanks, Deva
