Blank Screens

I have some end-users complaining about when they log into their PC’s that their screens are blank.

I have them reboot their PC

After reboot they log into PC and everything is fine, which means they have their desktop back

This issue just started after I deployed endpoint on a few PC’s in my domain

Is anyone else seeing this?

please check how long blank screen is there.

if you have a quick scan on login enabled it can take few minutes to start the desktop after performing login.

Thank you for the suggestion but I don't have (run startup scan when users log on) checked

Also the end-users don't inform me when this event happens, they usually wait until they see me (weeks later!)

Bump...

We are experiencing this same issue intermittently at my company also.  The system will boot, user will login, system appears to be loading but never gets past the blank background.  Performing a Ctrl+Alt+Del and then running Explorer will load the desktop and the system performs normally after that.  System and Application logs do not show anything out of the ordinary that I can see.  This is starting to occur more and more frequently since the installation of SEP MR3 and users are starting to get irritated.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!

Chris

found this article on the Symantec support site....

doesn't seem like much of an answer since everything was working fine prior to the install.
