  • 1.  Block clients from accessing control panel using Symantec Endpoint

    We are using Symantec Endpoint 12.1 in our organization and I was trying to block the users\ clients from accessing the control panel. I have tried a few options but in vain. Need help !!

    This is really easy to implement using the Group Policy in Windows:

    Ideally this is done with a GPO

    If you can find out what process calls the control panel than maybe you could block it with an application and device control policy but I can't see this being easy to implement as the same process may call other Windows files as well

    Have checked now within SEPM - could not really find any templates or predefined rule sets to control that access with SEP ADC - the easiest way as mentioned would be simply GPO.
