    But it doesn't work.
    Can i block abc.xls or abc.pps?
    Thank you.

Ps: if i use name (like abc.xls) user can change the name and work it. I want to block it with fingerprint.
    Thank you.

did you restart the client after the policy been updated?

clients need to be restarted for the policy to be in effect.

To open XLS or PPT file the actual process that will run on the computer is POWERPNT.exe and EXCEL.exe you try blocking the files by fingerprint or by regular expression.

    Hello Vikram.
I have a 2 games. one of them Flash game in excel file.Another is Flash game in power point file.
I taken fingerprint excel and powerpoint files. And bloked them in application &device Policy.
I restart the computer. I saw client policy was update.
But client can open the file and can play the game.
I Used GPO and add office adm files in Active Directory. I close macros with GPO but I coulnd't again ( I am still trying with gpo)

If you want  I can send excel or pps files to you for try.
Fingerprint is not working for excel and pps I thing so. is it true?
    Thanks.

    Thank you for feedback.
No users are 32 bit OS.
Loging is allready open. But there is no information.
I don't know sep can do that? can block one excel file (example game.xls) with fingerprint.
maybe SEP cannot do that. I am not sure.
    Thank you.

actually you don't want to block the XLS file but you want to block the flash program running inside the XLS file right. So if we get the FileFinger Print ofthe Flash Macro ( if there is one ) then this can be acheived.

    Hello Vikram.
Yes you rigth. I want to block flash games in Excel or power point files.
I can do it with GPO and I already did it. But If I close VBA Scripts in Excel, marcos doesn't work either.
I couldn't export flash game in excel file. Therefore i coulnd't take fingerprint to flash game.
I think so I cannot do it with Sep.
    Thank you.
