Hello,

Question about app blocking. Blocking exe from removable devices works great. But it fails when the exe is inside a zip folder.

Im using the default no program from usb rule and client version is 11.0.5.x

Can i get some rule help here? thanks.

Also i want to know when any exe is blocked. I enabled send email tick but i dont get any emails even thought emai is set in admin field in server details. What i would like to read is:

User: <user>
Tried to run: <exe>
From: <location>
Time/Date

Is this possible?

TIA

Hi

are u running an msi file inside the zip file?

msiexec.exe is still able to Create and Write .exe files when an Application Control Polciy is in place to block all Create, Write and Delete attempts to all .exe Files
