  • 1.  The block USB flash drive policy not apply

    Hello All

    I would like to block USB Stick with the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.and i used this forum (http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security.nsf/854fa02b4f5013678825731a007d06af/ce3a83c1ce5ca4cf492573fd005d28dc?OpenDocument).

    But after edit the policy and assign policy to group the usb still working. i don't know why??

    plz need help

    Do you have network threat protection installed? if not it wil not work
    open sep interface; do you see it installed?
    reboot the box once ; update the policy try the usb block.
    check this document too 
     

    How to block USB Thumb Drives and USB Hard Drives, but allow specific USB Drives in the Application and Device Control Policy in Symantec Endpoint Protection.

    the network threat protection was not installed but when i installed the usb block
