    I follow the instruction in the the article https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH102822.html

    and works fine for OS windows vista and windows 7. but it doesn't work for the clients with OS of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and Windows 8.

    Is there any settings need to the latest Windows OS.

    Please advise.

    Possibly. When you open the client GUI, what component shows as disabled?

    Hi Sorry for the late reply component disable is "Disable Symantec Protection"

    Disable SEP then  open the GUI. What component shows as disabled?

    Disable the Symantec Endpoint Protection " means no anti-virus anymore coz the user can disable the Symantec Endpoint Protection
