BMR is failling on dis similar disk solaris 9 client

Hi All,

I am doing restoration for for differnet disk on same server.I have done below process.

1)Removed root & mirrored disk(Its with VXVm)

2)Disimiler disk restore has been initiated and complete.

3)PTR is started and its creating file system and once its started restoration of rootvol is failing with below error.I think its searching for label of new disk??

 

Please let us know i have to initiate new disk with other configuration?If yes kindly let us know the steps for initiate the new disk.I have checked symantect they didnt given for VxVm with solaris.

This could be happening either because of disk location mapping failure or type matching failure.

Did you enabled "logging" while doing PTR? IF yes, can you provide the log file created on your master server in netbackup/logs/bmrrst/<client_name>/*.log.
