I am currently engaged with a customer who is planning to deploy Netbackup 7 across the enterprise. While the head office runs mission critical appliations, he is looking for a Bare metal restore solution for 100 remote sites with a single Windows server. He is also looking for the storage efficiences achieved by deploying dedupe.

Can someone tell me how the BMR for remote offices can be achieved with NBU 7 elegantly.

Thanks
Nash

Customer will deploy NBU 7.0

Customer will deploy NBU 7.0 at the central data centre. The requirement is to integrate the BMR for the data centre as well as 100 remote offices in the solution. How is this done ?

so

So you will have a datacenter, w/ backup/storage environment
100 computers - some distance away

U want to back the 100 servers up with the BMR option?

if all 100% computer have the same hardware U should make a single BMR and the other one just files backup

U can restore the backup (image from anyone to anyone) and then restore the files.
