Hi,

Environment windows 2003 NBU 6.5.4
Client Windows 2003
( DELL servers )

Backup of client with BMR ok, status 0.
When trying to do the restore from DVD, selecting partition, choosing shared resource tree, and restore seems to restore all data ok.
BUT..... After restore is complete with status 0, system reboots to start windows. Windows reports missing files, NT files...???!?!?!

Anyone seen this?

You might want to check the

You might want to check the bmrrst log on the master server to see if there were any warnings/messages.
Was this a multi boot system?
What are the files that it is complaining about?
Was the original backup an "ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES" backup or atleast a backup that covered the system drives and did the last backup go through perfectly?

HTH,
AmolV

BMR restores disks as they were at the time of backup

If your disks became corrupted before backup, BMR will recover corrupted OS.

Also good idea to make sure that your backup covers all the files required for boot.
