Boot Disk for Dell Latitude E6400
Updated: 21 May 2010 | 3 comments
Hello,
I am hoping someone can help, I just got a new Dell Latitude E6400 laptop and before I configure the machine, I would like to create a ghost image. I cannot find DOS drivers for this model and asked Dell but they do not have one at this time. I was hoping someone else had an idea as to which driver I can use to create the boot disk.
Thanks

Hello icruz,
I guess u are having a errors with the driver files, try the following this is the 32 bit version....
you may need a Floppy drive and disk.

Does it have to be a DOS boot disk?
I gave up on DOS disks a long time ago. Ghost makes it pretty easy to create a WinPE boot CD.
I usually use Bart's pebuilder. It can make a bootable CD or USB flash drive which you can do lots of stuff from, like run a chkdsk or remove malware from a hard drive. I've been able to add network card drivers and storage drivers to it, so I can use it to make images on all of our different types of desktops and laptops.

Load the Driver files....
i know about WinPE ,but i don't how load the drivers to the disk.i know it is easy i have used it too.remember this is a SATA driver.normally in the early stages xp needs it for installation.so the dos boot disk rather better to use.
and another option if you like try HIREN's Boot CD
