I am having a Boot Error only on this model of HP machines.  1. HD  System Type-(00)

I have created a network boot package, saved it as an iso, booted to the disk on multiple modles of HP and Dell(dc5700, dc5100, d620 Latitude, d420 Latitude, etc..., but the dx2300 is killing me.  It is a lower end model that HP makes and I suspect the PC DOS to be the problem.  Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

Ryan, (good name by the way)

Here is what I did.  I got the Win 98 boot files from this website: http://www.allbootdisks.com/download/98.html and ran the utility to write them on a floppy.  Then I created a Ghotst boot disk with the NDIS drivers for the Intel Pro 100 VE nic from Intel's webiste but instead of PC-DOS I used the MS-DOS files from the boot disk I created and abra cadabra it worked!

Good Luck.
