  • 1.  Boot to Production task with 7.5 NS fails on Images with 7.1 Agent

    Hi,

    after upgrade to 7.5 and deploying an old image with 7.1 agent, the Boot To Production job fails with error

    "ErrorMessage: Automation Environment (autoutil) not found value=0, error=0"

    Of course, the client is fine in Production and I can continue upgrading the agent, but it is irritating and one needs to wrap the task to a sub job that is allowed to fail. (Something I hoped to get rid of. I even missing the possibility to define success error codes like in DS6.9)

    We have the same issue - is wrapping the task into a job the only way to fix this?

    I wonder if anyones has any workarounds?

    I have this issue as well!

    Getting the error

    ErrorMessage: Automation Environment (autoutil) not found value=0, error=0

    I beleive the fix is to upgrade the agent on your build. Other this workaround works for me till I get the time to do that.

    I agree - if you rebuild you images to have the updated client the error does not show.

    I had to enclose the Boot to Production task into a non failing Job to make old images work in the mean time. Still annoying I reckon...
