When trying to boot up we get a black screen that says bootguard.

We try the recovery CD and no luck error 0x00000080

We try to slave the drive and run pgpwde --decrypt

               error code -11976:Corrupt Data

any help would be greatly appreciated

    we are running 10.0.1

I've not yet seen any report to know whether or not this is likely to be of help, but I would wonder if this might possibly be because of disk errors that running SpinRite might resolve.  But, since you have slaved the drive, you might even try Chkdsk.

I had this issue i fixed it by using the bootg decrpt disk just make sure you download the correct bootg iso for the corect version of pgp also you may have to wait about 3 days for decrypt ! (pc spec depending)this is being looked into by Symantec as its a pgp bug!

probabaly your partition table is broken due to a physical problme on the disk.

you can try to use the --recover command for pgpwde.exe which tries to find recovery information the disk in other sectors.
