When my installation of Ghost was hosed last week, I reinstalled, and lost alot of the fixes that I had put in the winPE environment.  I got alot of WIM invalid errors, and saw the post here on how to replace the boot.wim file.  Is it possible to take a boot.wim file from a ghost boot that worked (I have it on CD) and get Ghost boot wizard to use it?  I cannot get my machines in console to reboot to virtual partition (always missing drivers) but I can put that boot image on and it boots to PE and restores fine.  Will this extract all drivers in that image?

Yes you can replace boot.wim on hard drive with the one from CD - indeed with few minor modifications that you may have potentially done during CD media creation it is identical wim to the one installed on your hard drive.
