bprecover -dhost question

So what would happens if you run a bprecover -dhost on a NBU master server that has an exisiting EMM database on it?

For example:  NBU1 has a 1 GB catalog that is backed up via cold back and on tape.  NBU2 has a 2 GB catalog file.

NBU1 takes a dirt nap, so we take it's catalog tape, stick it in NBU2, and run the bprecover with the -dhost switch.

Once the bprecover is done, will the size of the catalong on NBU2 be:

A) 1 GB

B) 2 GB

C) 3 GB

D) 0 GB, for the bprecover crashed :(

I'm being a little funny here, but it's a serious scenario and I can't get a straight answer from SYMC...

Let me know if you have any input.  Point will be rewarded.   Thanks.
