My client recently let their in house IT support go, but before he left, he changed the password on the Brightmail appliance.
Is there a utility or a process to recover the password short of resetting the box to factory default?

Unfortunately there isn't really a way to do this. I apologize to be the bearer of bad news, but in this situation our only supported method is to do an OS restore. :smileysad:
