  • 1.  Brightmail And Active Directory

    Hi there:

     I have following query regarding Symantec Brightmail Active Directory Configuration/integration:

    • How much time Brightmail take to update Active Directory record, because we are facing issue with content policy description are as follow:

     Create a policy which contains one of the group of Active Directory. I create a content policy which is implementing on Policy group that hold AD member. Right now issue is this when we more one user two some other group, Brightmail not update record. We manually Disable/Enable that it update record. Kindly guide me how I sink Brightmail to AD without Disable/Enable Directory Integration.

    Ishaq,

     

       Thank you for the post on the forums and the web case.  In this case it could be that information is getting cached.  have you tried hitting the "clear cache" button?

    Hello Ishaq,

    As John you can try Clear Cache button. By the way if you're using older versions than 9.0.0, Directory integration method is different. So you can try make a manuel synchronization if you're using older versions than 9.0.0.
