  • 1.  Brightmail Compliance policy to allow send mails to specific domain only.

    Posted Jan 16, 2010 12:34 AM

I want to create a compliance policy to allow a specific user to send mails to a specific domain only from my WHITELIST, and any other domain should be getting rejected or block as Spam or any way should not send.

Problem is that when users add any other domain in to, cc or bcc field along with domain name from the whitelist, the message got delivered.

Any help on how to proceed will be much appreciated

Thanks a lot I have already checked what you propose, but I need compliance with minimum condition and maximum results, because the system we have is very big, and there are over 3000 mails daily.

Problem is that we can make compliance for every domain name of e-mail in internet, the stem will by extremely slow.

My future question will by, which of mantec program can do such function which I need? And what you can say about “Vontu DLP”?

    Regards

    Anton

    Hi Anton,

The compliace rule I showed in my previous thread solves exactly the same problem that you are referring to.  Note that abc.com in that example is the doamin that you allow your users to send to.  To add multiple domains that are allowed you can add similar conditions to the rule, one for each domain, usingh the "ANY" clause.

    Hi AdnanH,

Thanks I have try it, looks like work! But not complete the test and compliance consists too many conditions, it’s not so useful.

    Thanks
    Anton
