We are at the moment running a Brightmail Gateway 9.0.2 as a test before setting it in production. I have seen the following issue.

We have enabled quarantine for the users and also good and bad sender list. When the user gets the mail quarantine with the release and view link they are only able to see their quarantined mails. see picture below

When the user is using their credentiels and are logging they are able to see their good and bad sender list. See picture.

Is it possible for the users to see this when they are using the link in the quarantine mail?? I am sure that it is but I have apparrantly not figured out how to do it yet. Anyone with some ideas??

I know that most of the competitors have that option.

The view and release links

The view and release links are specialised and don't require a login therefore won't give you access to the full interface.

The best option for you is to not have them included in the email. You will want the login URlLto be set up correctly. This ensures that your users will log in each time and be able to see their good and bad senders.

Under the Administration tab, in the Control Center selection on the Left, you will find a setting under the Users tab to allow a 'Remember Me' checkbox. This will allow your users to only have to log in every 30 days or so.

Hi, i got an issue very

Hi, i got an issue very similar to this, we have the same 9.0.2 version.

An user logs in Brightmail using his username and password, and as result, he sees only Quarantine, but not Bad and Good Senders.

As he did not hit any email tag to release a message, in fact, he is logged in, he should be able to manage Bad and Good Senders.

This does not happens to all users, as far as i can test, only one, but i do believe it could be happing to some.

   Any ideas ?

   Thank you very much.

Hi Carlos, Have you verified

Hi Carlos,

Have you verified that the users in question have the Create Personal Good and Bad Senders Lists option checked under the Policy Group that they are members of ? I would check there first to make sure that they are not just a member of a different policy group that does not have this option turned on.

Seems to be set correctly

   Jvansym, thank you !

I just checked after reading your reply, to tell you the truth, i did not tought about this permission. But we have only a default group, and seems to be set correctly.

   Anyway, thanks.

One thing your users might

One thing your users might try is logging in to the Brightmail and checking the box to remember them on that computer. That way they stay logged in and can just click the link directly to their quarantine and will not have to log in each time.
