I have added an email sender to both the local good senders group and the sending IP address to the local good senders IP group and the email is still blocked due to "blocked language". I have set the action do deliver message normally with no luck.

Putting them into the known good senders won't help you, since thats just for spam detection. Static blocked language is not a spam detection. Please see this document for help in troubleshooting this:

Title: 'Email message is being deleted for static blocked language verdict'

    Hi Gary,

As noted in the following KB, the "messages identified to be written in a disallowed language are deleted":

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/docid/2009062309004854

The same note is also mentioned on page 80 in SBG 8.0 Administration Guide.

Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass language detection, even for Local Good Senders, if you have chosen to block mail based on language detection feature.

    Regards,

    Adnan

    Hi Gary,

I have submitted an enhancement request on your behalf:

"Allow Local Good Senders to bypass Language Detection"
