  • 1.  Browser intrusion protection is malfunctioning

    Hi,

    Everytime when I open IE 11 or new tab, "Browser intrusion protection is malfunctioning" alert pop-up.

    Please advice.

    What version of SEP client do you have installed on this? I'm assuming you're using Windows 7?

    Yes, I am using 

    • Windows 7
    • SEP12.1.6 MP5

     

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks. One thing I can share from my experience at work - we had similar issue and it turns out that we had an policy to block the add-ons. Once we enabled it, it worked. Have you made any changes to the policies?

    Also, try the SymDiag application, as ℬrίαη suggest, and it might tell you what's up with it.

    Please check if the Policies of the "Browser intrusion protection" is enabled.
