  • 1.  BSOD after upgrade to SEP 12.1

    Posted Jul 21, 2011 07:18 AM

    Hi,

I recently upgraded our company from SEP 11.0.5 to SEP 12.1 - and one of our laptops is now blue screening on reboot.

In the windows event log there is the following:  " The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x00000008, 0x807c6750, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). "

The laptop is a Dell Vostro 1015.  It's got the latest bios/chipset updates from Dell, and is running windows 7 sp1 professional with all important updates applied.

NB:  I've tried to create a technical support call - but for some reason our RTSM ID/ Support ID/ technical contact ids don't seem to work on the verify account screens.

    Cheers,

    Tony S

    Hi Tony,

The best way to troubleshoot a BSOD, is to get the Full Memory dump to our engineers for analysis.

You might try contacting Customer Care, and see if they can figure out your entitlement for support.

Let me know how that goes for you.

    Best,

    Thomas
