I get the BSOD several times a month.  The dump file indicates that it is caused by the wpsdrvnt.sys driver every time.  Below is my product information

    Symantec Endpoint Protection:

    Version 11.0.7200.1147

    Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1

Tech doc 103087 seems to indicate that this issue was fixed in RU7 (fix ID: 2202918).  My version number seems to indicate that I have RU7 MP2 (maybe I'm reading it wrong).  The wpsdrvnt.sys file on my computer is dated 5/28/2012 and is 54kb.

Is there a solution for this issue or an updated driver that I can download?  If needed I can post a screen shot of the WinDbg analysis of the dump.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

You can call support and provide the full dump. You can also upgrade to MP3 to see if it fixes it.

Start in safemode and remove the sep and install the sep 11.7 mp3. It available in file-connect You need to start the Windows Installer service first to uninstall sep in safemode https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/windows-installer-safe-mode

Opening a support ticket is the way to go. Is the machine server OS?

    Hello,

It would be advisable to please create a Case with Symantec Technical Support and upload the full memory dump logs to the case.

How to create a new case in Symantec MySupport

Thank you all for the advice.

Mithun and Pete - I will open a support case and see if they can help resolve the issue.

Raju - Unfortunately this is a work computer so I am somewhat limited to what I can install/uninstall.  However, if opening a support ticket does not resolve the issue, then I will take the uninstall route and install RU7 MP3

Thanks again.  I appreciate the help.
