BUExec 11d Ejects tape before verify finishes

BackExec 11d v7170 on SBS 2003 Ejects tape before verify finishes.
Backups ran perfectly till a Microsoft Critical Update required an update of BUexec to version 7170.
I have only managed to get one backup of basic data files to run since in the last month.
The tape ejects on the last stage of the verify and prompts for a tape as there is nothing in the drive.
Even when the option to eject tape not selected!
I have no idea what is hapening. All backup exec updates have been installed new jobs have been created, server has had numerous reboots but since this update to ver 7170 backup exec fails.
HELP PLEASE!!!!
