One of our client stations will at random times get this message after booting up in the morning.

    "Buffer overrun detected!  Program:  C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\Rtvscan.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which corrupted the program's internal state.  The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated"

I've already checked Document ID: 2006081714373548 and I've tried to replicate long path name portion.  What I can't seem to figure out is the double-byte characters portion.  How do I know if this client has a path with double byte characters?

The client being used is 10.1.0.394 on a Windows XP Pro SP2 box

Thank you so much for any help you can provide.

    Joel
