Hey!
Now I have some other questions to you. I hope you can help me.

1. Is the RMS bv-control for Active Directory snap-in merged to the bv-control for Windows under CCS 9.0.1 or is there an extra snap-in?
(If yes, where are the Group Policy, Container, etc. Checks?)

2. Are there any snap-ins, etc.  who can check if the Antivirus on the Server/Client is up to date?
Or is it only possible to check if the AV is installed (check if the .exe File exists)?

Any ideas?
Thanks

The Bv-Control for Active

The Bv-Control for Active Direcory was removed after version 8.6 . its not bv-control for windows. The Data collection portion of the software is a different installation thatn the R&A  though the Reporting and Analyitcs utilzies the Data Collection portion (aka old bindview , rms console) to obtain data for standards checks, import assets etc

There is a widows machine query that you can run inside of the Rms console

In the Field Specifications area there is a folder for SAV that allows for the following

- Is Sav Installed
- Is SEP installed
- Time Since last  live update of virius def files (days)
- Time since last virus scan (days)
- virus def file age (days)
 - Virus Def file date and version

If you're using something other than SAV there probably is a way to run another query on a file version or such though that would all depend on the program you're using

bv-control for AD

Thanks for your answer!
But i think i don't realy understood how i can make some checks on AD ( OU GPO Links, effective Premissions of a OU etc.)

In my RMS Console there is already a snap-in called bv-control for AD. And there I can create queries, but in CCS, there aren't such checks available.

In CCS standards you can

In CCS standards you can create them and link them back to a value (or use an existing check inside of a standard that is already setup)

It is a big difference in setting up the checks for a standard in CCS than just running the RMS query. if you want , send me a message and I might be able to help more offline
