  • 1.  BVRMSSystem - Error

    Hi Guys,

    for the last three days I am constantly getting the following error .... saying BVRMSSystem failed....

    Any ideas why is it happening. The jobs are taking for ever to complete and before they finish I end up with the error message.... ?

    An help is greatly appreciated.

    Are you running reports in the Data Collection or R&A side?

    What version of the software are you running (8.6, 9, 9.01, 10?)

    DId you recently upgrade and if so did you also upgrade / patch the QE's ?

    What type of report are you running

    If its a Data Collection query , and is windows based, have you checked your Query Engines to see if they needto be adjusted for the report you are running

    Its cool you posted it here...but if you have the time you may also want to shoot that over to the Symantec Support line to see if they can open a case for you. It may get solve quicker


    I did a quick search of the http://www.symantec.com/business/support/overview.jsp?pid=53741 area for the KB but did not see anything that might fit.

    Running version 9.0.1

    Only using Bindview and collecting logs from servers and the events of interest.

    Have not done any upgrade recently.

    Yup already talking to Symantec support... I thought may be some one has a quick fix here so posted it.

    Glad that you've already contacted the symantec support area. I'd be interested to find out what the issue and soluion turned out to be
