  • 1.  Bypass to 'Stop software installers' in SEPM Application Control

I like the preset rule in SEPM Application Control to block software installers which would stop installation of software that bypasses the UAC (such as Chrome, Firefox, etc).  However, I don't like not having the ability for administrators to bypass this feature.  Is there a way to configure the rule to allow administrators to enter their password and bypass the block?

I suggest you add this to the "Ideas" section of Connect. Developers are watching this area for ideas, to add features and new functionality to future versions of the product.

Thomas, by your response I'm guessing that you don't know of an existing way to bypass this feature (which is the question I asked)?

Correct, setting up a password for this feature is not possible at this time.
