Calendar Items in EV 2007
Can anyone explain to me if EV 2007 is capable of Archiving Calendar items in Outlook and also the documents that are attached to them ? If so what happens if the Appointment is in the future but then the start or end times, or even the date of the appointment is changed and an update sent to the end user ?
Thanks for any advice.
Paul
Yes EV is able to archive
Yes EV is able to archive calendar items and attachments.
I believe it will recall the item to answer your second question.
If you have not already and this is all really important for you, you cannot beat a POC for testing so you are confortable.
You may also want to note there is the EV policy below that can be set. Taken from EV8 Administrators Guide. Hope this helps.

Calendar archiving in 2007 does not create shortcuts to those items, so the date of the items doesn't really matter as it still exists as a proper item in Exchange. In effect, you have a duplicate of your items ( a safety copy) that doesn't go away unless you have an Exchange policy setup to rid of them..
