Updated: 21 May 2010 | 1 comment
Hello,
we have backup exec 9.1 and 9.2 on netware servers running...
In bestart are commands like:
BKUPEXEC.NLM -tl
-aa
-dy
-tc
-tp
-tj
-s
%1
%2
%3
-!X
-b
and some more...
Can anyone explain the meaning of them?
Do you have maybe some more useful commands?
Thanks!

hi
BEJOBED.NLM is the VERITAS Backup Exec Job Editor which allows NetWare supervisors to make changes to the backup jobs that are already scheduled in the queue.
VERITAS Backup Exec for NetWare 9.0 includes this functionality in the Backup Exec client.
Backup Exec Job Editor functionality includes:
Changing backup selections
Changing job logon information
Backup Exec Job Editor can be loaded using any one of the following methods:
Type LOAD BEJOBED and press <Enter> at the server console prompt
- Or -
Type the command load BKUPEXEC -TJ and press <Enter> at the server console prompt
- Or -
Modify the BESTART.NCF file. Add the -tj switch at the end of the line that loads BKUPEXEC.NLM. This would load the Backup Exec Job Editor with Backup Exec for NetWare.
Edit the file SYS:SYSTEM\BESTART.NCF to appear as:
SEARCH ADD SYS:BKUPEXEC\NLMS\
LOAD BKUPEXEC.NLM -tl -aa -dy -
