This issue has been solved. See solution.

So I have an Server Windows 2003 run Backup Exec 2010 R3

Then I build up a Ubuntu Linux File Server.

Can Bacup Exec 2010 R3 backup Ubuntu Linux File server?

Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.10 are supported by BE2010 R3

I use Ubuntu 12.04

Hi

That version is not in the SCL so this is not a supported version with BE 2010

Below link is for BE 2012 which support till version 11.04
