Hi All,

My policy Company, used the protective drive C which every time after restart  PC machine will comeback the configuration of OS to first state. We used EZback software to this objective.

However, we found the problem with SEP11, which the defination virus pattern file will also use first old pattern installed.

The sub-directory of defination folder is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\VirusDefs.

If someguy has the fix solution to relocate that folder, please help let me.

Thanks

Nitikorn

This is by design and the Liveupdate would go to  C:\Program Files\Common Files.
This is not only for Symantec but  for any software that gets updated , the defs goes to  C:\Program Files\Common Files
