Can connect to host through gateway when host and gateway are on same computer running Windows 7 64bit

Has anyone been able to make a PCanywgere 12.5 remote connect to a Windows 7 host also running gateway. Using PCanywhere 12.5. I seem to be able to connect to the gateway but can not control the host through the remote.
