This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have a client whose Windows Server2003 R2 server has over sixty gigs of files in its Quarantine Folder. Is it possible to simply delete the files from the folder of do I have to spend a day waiting for them to show up on the Quarantine list in Endpoint Protection? THis is rewndering the drive virtually useless.

If you are talking about this location

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\Quarantine

GO AHEAD and delete it the CONTENTS of this folder ... I dont think you should face any issues with the same.

cheeers .... :)

Thank you. I will be on site Tuesday and will give it a shot. I will let you know if it was successful. I appreciate your input.

I am reporting success but it was not easy. I had fo uninstall EP from the server (not the console, just the EP itself) before I could delete the 4,500-plus items in the folder. I the reinstalled EP and all seems well.

I did some fine tuning in the policy for Quaranteen and will now see how it goes.

Thanks Doc.
