Since the report generator in ServiceDesk is somewhat limited, I am experimenting with writing SQL queries in SSMS.  Is there a way to import these into ServiceDesk?  It looks like you can only import reports from another instance of ServiceDesk.  What are other customers doing to get more advanced queries in SD 7.5?

Thank you, but I do not see those Sql options in the report designer.  How do I make those available?  The link you included does look like it may show me what I need to do, however.  I will try it out.  Thanks again!

Try creating a new report and start from there.

If you're still having issues afterwards, send me a message and I can walk you through it over webex.

A SQL query is fine, but I also like to use data profiles (described here) in order to get some additional functionality. Depending on the situation, I may use either method as they both have benefits.

You're right, I see the Sql options when I start a new report.  Thanks!

Thanks - I have used the data profile also and it did work well.
