    SEP will only protect file system on your Database server. It will not scan the database.It will read the whole database as a single file and will scan it but it can't read anything inside it and you will have to exclude database files so that your Database works fine.

    Yes, it scans SEP readable files on the system and protect against threat. The database files will not be scanned.

    That is correct you can protect the files on the database sever using SEP...any version
