Can I remove hotfixes after installing BackupExec 11d SP4

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hello,
I have an older Windows 2003 server running Backup Exec 11d. This server has a critical need to free up some disk space. I have installed Hot fixes 62, 63, 64, 65, 69 and also Service Pack 4. Can I remove the any/all of the hotfixes. I am hoping that they were all rolled up into Service Pack 4, making them unnecessary.
Thanks for any advice.

Removing Backup Exec SPs OR patches is not the way to free up the disk space as they are critical. Still if you want to remove the patches and SPs, just uninstall SP4 which includes the other patches for Backup Exec, remember you need to make sure that all the remote agents are also at the same version (beremote.exe) as BE Media server.

Hope this helps....

Its a best practice to have a "Support Contract" with Symantec...

You won't save much space by removing hotfixes as typically they replace files that already exist on the system , same with the service pack.

As Colin suggested it will not help you much, However if you still want to go ahead with it then follow http://support.veritas.com/docs/300796 .

If this answers your query, mark this as a sollution.
