Hi,

I've noticed that last release of Barracuda Webfilter allow ICAP integration for DLP solution. Does anyone know if it's supported by the Symantec DLP suite?

It is not certified at this time for any version of Symantec DLP, that includes DLP v12.  That being said, if you already have the hardware, it wouldn't hurt to test it.

Keep in mind that SYMC cannot test every product out there.. so if it is not listed, it just means it has not been tested. So it all comes down to the product supporting or following the right standards

When it comes to Web Prevent, they will need to support the ICAP requirements. If your Barracuda prodcut does support ICAP, then you would just need to enable it. Once you turn it on theintegration is pretty simple.

You will know if it works pretty quickly. Just make sure to look at the logs on both systems.

When you do turn it on, make sure to point the Barracuda server to the DLP server and make sure to identify the REQMOD setting in the url. If you don't the DLP server will not work perfectly.

I read it and asked Barracuda about it because on the webui I just have the option shown on the attach and didn't work. These are the only options I have avaible on the webfilter.

The picture you sent is cropped.. I cannot tell you what is wrong. Please send more information
