  • 1.  Can not detect the text files of other than UTF-8.

    Hello.
     

    Vontu can not detect the text files of other than UTF-8.
    I have mainly used the text of Shift-JIS in Japanese but it is not detected on EDM policy and Keyword match policy . 

    Please let me know how to do it.

    Vontu Version :11.1
    Japanese Language Pack: applied

    It module is Network Prevent.
    It has occured when to send the email attached text file.

    You can try to change the Default setting on Server > Detection Server > Advence Setting 

    Find Vault ( Detection.EncodingGuessingDefaultEncoding ) change to UTF-8 Default Vault is ISO-8859-1

    when setting changed , please restart the Detection Service and try to Rescan it.

    can you try upgrading agent to 11.6.3 and verify.

    It has been success to detection when set as follows.

    Detection.EncodingGuessingDefaultEncoding = MS932
