  • 1.  Can not push 12.1.RU5 client to SEPM Server

    I can push the new Version 12.1.5 (12.1.RU5) Build 5337 (12.1.5337.5000) to al servers and workstations except the SEPM server.

    When i try to push the new version to the SEPM server i get:

    SEPM server specs:

    Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Standard (x64) (Running on Hyper-V Cluster)

    All these steps are already done.

    Package is created and deploy to other machines is working great.

    Push is not working to the managmenent server.

    When i create a Setup.exe it works but i can't push the client to the SEPM server itself

    Check the article

    I have had exactly the same problem - I can push the 12.1.5 client to anything but the SEPM host server.

    SymHelp is all green - more so than it's ever needed to be before on any of several SEPM managers I've set up with versions prior to 12.1.5.  As did kf-ict, I've recheked and rechecked everything and it's all been good.

    While the "Save Package" option did work for me, too, it's a work around, not a fix.  I say this becaue remote push is suppposed work.

    I have to disagree that is is a solution.  It IS a viable workaround, but no more than that.  The Remote Push install is supposed to work if all requirements are met.

    Were you upgrading an existing SEP installation or installting on a freshly built/rebult server?  I ask because I encountered this problem on a virgin server.
