    Hi, can one remotely deploy the DCS agent using Altiris? If yes, how can this be achieved?

    Sure can.

    Look in the Installation Guide, section 5 "Next Steps".  There you will find a section on agent installation.  In particular you want to reference the section called "Silent installation of agent".

    Here's a snip.

    "You can perform a silent installation of Windows agent by using the agent.exe executable and InstallShield and Windows Installer commands."  (I added the emphasis)

    Use the information there to build the job in Altiris.  I don’t know the exact steps anymore.  It’s been a few years since I did it, but it can be done.  Get with your Altiris guru’s to get the settings just how you need them.
