Can a server certificate be added to SMP after the initial install?

    I want to add a server certificate from my rootca to my altiris instance. Is it possible to do this after SMP has already been installed?

    Server 2008R2 x64

    IIS7

    SMP 7.1 SP2

    the certificate I have is in .cer format.  Import server certificate only accepts .pfx and when i try to do "Complete Certificate Request" it adds it to my list of server certificates but if i navigate away from the page it is no longer there.
