Can someone help me to how to create a new backup on hyper-v, VM?

The VM does not have any agent yet so I need help with to how to creat an agent on the VM and how to creat a backup job for this VM?

Quick Look Solution

To install the agent in the

To install the agent in the VM, go to Tools ---> Install Agent and push out the agent to the VM. If you have a Hyper-V host, you should also push out the remote agent to this host.

If you want to backup the VM as a physical machine, then create a backup job and select the VM's Netbios name.

If you want to backup the VM as a VM, then select the VM host.  The VM will appear under the VM host.

There are 2 ways to backup a

There are 2 ways to backup a VM

1) Install Remote agent on the VM. (RAWS license required) or

2) Use Agent for Hyper V, This option allows you to backup all the VM's hosted by the Hyper V server.

Hello, Please can someone

Hello,

Please can someone tell me how to backup in symantec exec backup 2010 from SAN (storage area network) to tape backup? I am not seeing SAN on backup server but I am seeing my tape library on device manager!

Any help would be really appreciated.
