Endpoint Protection

I have been messing with this console and reports for hours on end trying to find a way to show me a list of the clients (the view of those is easy enough if I go and click on Clients) however it doesn't tell me what version the clients are running.

This is for an audit so it's pretty specific what they need.  The older versions used to do this by just clicking down to the management server so I'm not sure why it's so hard to find but I've gone through just about every report and can't find a view that shows what I need.

I'm using 11.0.2000.1567.

Any help would be appreciated.

First of all why you are using the lower version of SEPM now its a 11.0.4014.26,

So you have to upgrade your version this will fixed your many issue and you could be able to view all information of you network.

To get a summary report on the number of workstations with the sep ver, just go to Reports, Quick report tab, and on the report type select Computer status, and select report, Symantec Endpoint Product.

To get the list of computers with sep ver, go to Monitors, Logs tab, Log type: Computer Status, then view click the button view Log, you will see the list, you can then later export this to csv.

In SEP 11.0 .2000.X version , tehre are few eporting issues. When you export the report in .csv format, you won't be able to see few columns.

Hence pls upgrade to MR4MP1a.

Hi Brian,

In the new Management Console, a drop down manu "View" has been added in the Clients tab of the user interface in SEPM.

If you choose "Client Status" view from the options, there is a column for "Client Version".

Moreover, if you click on the column name, you can sort the client computers according to their version numbers.

If you want to take a  look at the virus definitions date of the clients, you can choose the "Protection Technogies" view.
