Hi All

Can SylinkDrop tool run in remote installation? if we have un-control clients around 500+ pc. What should we do?

Do you have any scirpt for run as Log-on script? VB, bat script or something?
Or having SylinkDrop in Deployment solution,

Could you give me the how to? Thank you

Sylinkdrop tool does not run in remote installation mode but there is another tool called as Sylinkreplacer tool that runs on the server and remotely replaces the sylink.xml file on the clients.

Thank for your help. This is very good tool for Symantec FAN i think.

There is a utility called SylinkReplacer, you can use that to push Sylink.xml File remotely.

Hi here is the syntax in creating a  logon scipt using the sylink drop

<drive path> sylinkdrop.exe -silent sylink.xml

additional info here is how we create a logon script in our environment it si working by now.
