    Can symantec antivirus 10.2 win64 be connected to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 11.0 for virus definition update ?

    As of now No

    SEP 12.1 can manage

    sep 11 and sep 12 clients

    Hi,

    SAV 10.x & SEP 11.x are two different products.

    SEP 11 Manager can not manage SAV 10.x clients & Vice versa.

    I think about the only option for interoperability is to forward the 10.x logs to the SEPM, so at least all your AV information can be displayed centrally.

    SAV 10 is a very old product - you really need to upgrade those clients.  SEP 12.1 will give substantially better protection.

    Definitely not possible. The definitions downloaded, policies, rules and groups created in the SEPM can only be identified by a SEP client.
