Can Symantec End Point Use For Network Vulnerebility Scanning

Hi all :

I know about the Symantec End Point can protect organization workstation as a whole network concern. My problem is whether the End Point can use for

scanning every nodes (or workstation or server) on their vulnerability? After that, come out a vulnerability report on the network so that we can know where is

the vulnerable points and how is the status of the vulnerability.

no, this is not VM tool. However there is product called Symantec CCS VM which you might be intersted in.

Thanks to your information.

I found the Symantec CCS and also download the software Symantec_Control_Compliance_Suite_Ver_10_5_Windows_EN.part1 and 2.exe from Symantec website. I also tried to install the software and few problems as below :

1. It needs license to install and so I cannot actually try the software.

2. I am not so familiar of it but during the trial run of installation, this software is very powerful that it can do a lot of different things. Can I have software module with certain functions only to assesst the network nodes and come out the vulnerability report?
